It might not be your first inclination, but welcoming your enemy into heaven is infinitely more rewarding for both of you than damning them in to hell.

Also it is not necessary to damn them, if they are your enemy, they are already damned, they just don't know it. That it the main problem with hell, when you are there you don't know it as hell, its just your life of quiet or not so quiet desperation.
