There is a certain purity in the starkness of a desert;
An openness to solitude,
a respect for non interference and the wisdom of the ages,
not expressed or looking for your attention,
but there waiting to be found in the quiet observation of what is.
The simplicity of few options and the absence of human interference, focuses and clarifies the mind, allowing one the freedom to observe without outside influences. Great truths are not observed in a state of confusion, this I believe is why holy men and prophets sought out the solitude of the desert when looking for ultimate truth.
