Divine truth is the truth of everything and everyone

part 3 of a visit with Phil

Phil: its hard Dave, its very hard. When you first started to talk I tried to physically let myself go. Breathe and let go of all the pretenses and  literally say: bliss.

Look at the you that is having difficulty with that and realize…

Phil: but I don’t think that there are to many people who can even scratch the surface of that argument, not even an argument, just that understanding and tell you they have gotten there without discarding all of the bullshit.

Do you think that you can carry around bullshit and the truth at the same time? 

Phil: no, you have to discard it, you must and for a fluid moment I thought of my childhood, my teenage years, working at the hospital, the diseases I saw and the gratefulness I had for being where I am right now, right now, halfway through life. The bliss is there.

Excellent then.

Phil: but to grab it and hold on.

No, don’t hold onto it, just surrender to it.

Phil: even to surrender to it is not easy.

Just let bliss have its way with you. Be blisses bitch. Ha ha.

Phi: that is deep. It is shallow but it is deep. Hows that? Its right there, it is shallow, but it is also very deep,because we have cluttered it: we can’t carry bullshit and bliss at the same time, you are right. You have to choose one or the other. You are saying: just choose it and shut up. I get it.

Quit arguing about it, every word that comes out of your mouth is a defense against your surrender to your bliss.

Phil: you know why? I don’t fee entitled.

Yes of course you don’t feel entitled, you’ve judged yourself as unworthy. You are unworthy, nobody is worthy, no one is entitled, no one is worthy of the truth and yet: the truth is true for everyone. That which is true of everyone doesn't care about what you pretend.

Phil: you are entitled, that’s the beauty of it. 

There is no prerequisite for heaven, except surrender to being heavenly.

Phil: to being heavenly.

“Yes, OK, but don’t make fun of me if I do it.” “Oh well, you know… could that really be true, because I know I don’t deserve it.”  There is no deserving of it! There is no deserving of it! Why do you think that Jesus hung out with the prostitutes and criminals? They were more real about knowing who they were than the pretentious socialites and religious leaders. 

Phil: he got tired of the fakes, he just wanted to be with the people who had accepted who they were.

What ever his reasons were, interesting that he preferred them to the establishment, but the consideration of concepts like that as being a step on your way to enlightenment is ridiculous. 

Phil: say that again.

There is a condemnation within the attitude of giving undue reverence to a story about a divine being. A story is a human concept and description that you don’t know is true or not and so you’re giving your “awe” or reverence to a story instead of to life and consciousness. Whats awesome is that you are here and you are alive and you know it. Not what somebody did in some other life time, that is a story coming from somebody that didn’t know what their own truth was. 

The books written by followers and disciples are not books of knowing, they are not books of understanding, they are books of PR and bullshit, because if they knew the truth them selves: they would be enjoying the bliss of it instead of trying to build an organization to honor it in someone else. 

Phil: they should write the books about themselves, each one.

Each one would say: woah, wow, awesome. 

What you experience yourself as in each moment is what you have chosen to experience yourself as. If you choose the eternal truth of yourself, then the reality of your experience of self will begin to change rapidly. It will evolve until your experience of self is eternal truth and then when you are able to experience yourself as that, the reality around you is able to experience you as that as well. When reality perceives you divinely, it cant help but go into harmony with that itself, because divine truth is the truth of everything and everyone and once manifest it is duplicated by all who experience it.
